We’re pleased to share a significant new change to our platform for companies.

Our goal is to empower our customers with clear, actionable insights into their attack surface. We aim to create a platform where managing your digital footprint is intuitive, collaboration is effective, and understanding impact is straightforward.

Today, we’re taking a big step forward: Introducing assets. A core update designed to bring more clarity and efficiency to how you manage assets and program scopes. This shift reflects your feedback on the need for richer asset data, easier tracking across programs, and a more complete view of your attack surface.

A central view on your attack surface

Imagine managing all your digital assets—websites, APIs, applications—from one central, unified inventory. This means less time piecing together information from individual programs and a clearer overall picture. That’s the approach we’re taking with “assets” on the platform.

With this launch, we're reducing silos. Previously, "domains" were managed within individual programs. Now, "assets" are managed at the company level, creating a definitive, shared inventory. This brings several key benefits now, with more to come:

  • Streamlined operations: This unified approach helps reduce the challenges of managing assets across different programs, minimizing manual errors and operational friction.

  • Attack surface management: This change provides a better overview of your potential attack surface. It’s a foundation for future insights into asset maturity, helping us recommend strategies to enhance your defenses.

  • Foundation for improved researcher matching: By centralizing assets, we are laying the groundwork to enrich them with relevant information like required skills. This will help in connecting the right researchers to the right assets more effectively in the future.

A look at the new asset management

Asset management has been updated to be more powerful and intuitive:

For company admins

  • Create & edit assets: Add new assets directly to your company’s overview. Edits to a company asset will reflect across all programs where it’s in scope, ensuring consistency.

  • (Un)Archive & delete assets: Assets that  are no longer relevant can be archived. If needed again, they can be quickly brought back into scope.

For program admins & editors

  • Define program scope: Continue to create assets (which now contribute to the company list) and easily add or remove existings assets from your specific program’s scope.

  • Custom order program assets: You can now arrange your in-scope and out-of-scope assets in the order that makes the most sense for your program. This makes your scope clearer and easier for researchers to understand, helping them focus on what matters most.

  • Add program-specific details: Specify tiers and add descriptions relevant to your individual programs as before.

 Migration of existing domains

Behind the scenes, we’ve consolidated duplicate domains. If you had identical domain names and types, they’re now unified into a single, unique company asset.
